Answers to frequent Questions
Staff numbers: Currently we have 4 permanent BSAC instructors plus 2 occasionally available. Strict Military (JSSATC) regulations, limit instructor/student ratios to: Ocean Diver (OD) 4:1 & Sports Diver (SD) 2:1. No Depth progression or extra diving outside courses is allowed. At full instructor strength, we can comfortably handle 16 OD; 12 OD & 2 SD; or 8 OD & 4 SD. Larger groups may be possible with notice.
ESADS package: Cylinders & weights support may be available. Nitrox is available and dive guides with dive truck may also be on offer subject to Kembali activity needs permitting. The dive boat ‘KD Adventurer’ may also be available, with a Kembali Skipper, for Limassol Wrecks, Akrotiri Peninsula dives and Jubilee Shoal. Her capacity is 12 divers total including instructors.
Admin and support: Kembali can advise and supply most of the information required, generic risk assessment, professionals list, etc, for the JSATFA application. BSAC OD & SD Training Packs are supplied by military sources (ATG(A)). If required Kembali BSAC can supply BSAC Training logbooks which are not included in the training packs. The Company is very reluctant to hire out diving equipment but all equipment is provided in support of Kembali run courses.
